The Island Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is a group of local businesses, who along with the Village of Island Lake, work together to promote a friendly and caring community to our residents of Island Lake.
Our goal as your Chamber, is to provide local goods and services to help our community with it’s needs. Due to our members, we are able to annually give 2 students (from Wauconda High School), $1,000 scholarships toward their college education. We were also able to have our first annual “Giving Thanks”, which was a Thanksgiving dinner for those in need or who were alone. Because of this event and the generosity of it’s residents, chamber members and local businesses, we were able to donate to the Island Lake/Wauconda Food Pantry over $500, in addition to a variety of food staples and paper goods.
The Chamber also sponsors an annual Chili Bowl, Carnival, Fall Golf Outing and various networking mixers though out the year.
